DE-STASH EVENTS NEAR YOU!!
A Crafters Dream and Nightmare: De-Stash Event ✨
Recently, I discovered a brilliant event called DE-STASH — I attended one local to need a couple of weeks ago and feel I love with the concept and want to share it with more people. The event brought together a bunch of creative, like-minded people, all selling off unwanted or extra craft supplies they no longer needed.
The event I attended had about 10 different sellers, each offering a huge range of materials. There was everything you could think of — from cardmaking supplies, crochet kits, glitter fabric, fashion patterns... you name it, it was there! It was such a fun mix, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, with everyone excited to give their supplies a new home.
After I posted about it on TikTok, someone asked me where they could find events like this — which got me thinking. I’ve been doing some research: checking Facebook groups, scrolling through local event listings, and hunting down any other de-stash events happening around Scotland (and a few in England too).
For now, I’ve mainly focused on events closer to home that I might actually get to — but I really hope this blog post reaches even more people who love a good rummage and a crafty bargain!
